Overview
Were looking for a social media intern to support our team in the Lincoln office. The internship will be a semester commitment (Aug-Dec) with a possible extension for additional semesters if interests and client work allow. If youre dependable, self-motivated, and knowledgeable about social media and content creation, this is a great opportunity to gain professional experience in a dynamic agency setting.

What Youll Do

• Develop and review content for agency and client social media calendars
• Assist in compiling metrics reports
• Assist with social media program planning, creation, and execution
• Provide community management support
• Research information as directed by department staff

What Youll Bring

• Junior or senior standing in a post-secondary institution, majoring in public relations, journalism, mass communications or a related field.
• Availability 8-15 hours/week, with most of that time to be on location in the Lincoln office on Tuesdays/Wednesdays.
• Previous internship or work experience in social media, especially in content creation.
• Desire to work in the field of social media or social media marketing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
